First five of years after onset of puberty or last five years before peri menopause aren't optimal for childbearing. Family planning is a helpful tool for women who want to be productive and professional but also want to do pregnancy, birth and nursing while they are physically in their prime.

It depends on every individual's personal circumstances and preferences but 26-36 is optimal time for having children.

I had my kids between 24-30. My youngest is a high school senior and will graduate high school just a few days before my 49th birthday.
These ages were perfect for me. Old enough that I was graduated from college and had traveled a bit, but young enough that now that we will have an empty nest, I'm still active and healthy enough to do the kind of travel I want.

Why so so many women think that their lives end when their children are born?

Have a baby 10 years earlier--> 10 years younger when child is grown up.

LOL. Haven't seen her around lately! You're more charitable than I am thinking that she hates the AMA moms only, when she was on her wild spree it was her supreme accomplishment her daughter had knocked out a kid by 21 like she had to be a proud 42 year old grandma.

Realistically, probably 28-34 for most women who are pursuing advanced degrees, want to travel, move around etc but also want a good chance of getting pregnant w/o medical intervention.

I had my first at 29, 3rd at 33 but I kind of wish we could have started earlier at 26 or 27. Unfortunately, I think that would have been too tough for us financially

27-32. You're still young enough to keep up with toddlers and old enough to be established when the time comes to pay for college. If your kids have kids around that age, there is a good chance you get enjoy grand kids

I was 28-34 when I had my kids and definitely feel like that was a great range. I wanted to have multiple kids before age 35 so for my goal I needed to start younger.

28-35 and together as a couple for at least two years.

I had my first at 33, wish it was a little earlier but husband had health issues that delayed our start.

I had my one and only at age 30. He went to college this year and I realized I couldn’t do it for much longer. Part of that might be I’m a single parent and since she 45, I’m just much more tired.
