There is stuff at Talbots I wouldn't touch. But they also have good classics--and lined pants!--if you scrutinize the listings. This winter they had a great all merino wool skirt, for example, and their cashmere sweaters are quite good quality for the price on sale. I could be faulted for buying jeans there, but I am hard to fit for pants and theirs fit me.

I used to buy things at Target or the mall but I hate clothing from Target now and also don’t like paying retail prices for cheaply made clothes, even from some stores like j crew and banana. Now, I have waited for sales or sometimes shop online but I like actually trying on clothes.
