I don't doubt that you're correct coming off of some coaching manual or ideology from who knows where but I'm not sure if that is a good thing as kids get older and then need to learn how to play as a team.
You're then mixing up development vs performance.
There are levels to this thing.

Have a chance at what? Nobody has a chance. VDA was the only club in MA to have teams advance out of the group stage last year. The division is weak!
