+1 I’m 50 and when these came out I took one look at them and was like “wow, I will lose those easier than I breathe” so I never got any. My kid agrees and has giant headphones instead (that she still misplaces all the time.)

Both of my ADHD kids have not lost their AirPods. They’ve had them for two years. Stop making ADHD and excuse for everything.

Stop buying them. Mine don’t lose them because they are highly motivated not to. That includes my kid with ADHD who can’t find anything. He doesn’t misplace his cell phone or AirPods ever. It’s amazing, really.

Now if we were talking about the amount of water bottles they lose, that would be a different discussion. I don’t know how to keep those from getting lost.

This is why I would never buy air buds for myself much less my kid. Do not buy her more. Make her pay for them herself if she really wants them. You are doing her Zero favors as a parent if you send her the message that she will always have a backup supply of her stuff if she doesn’t take care of it.
