Second time in a week there’s been a cannabis incident at an MCPS middle school. The kids are not OK.

This seems only to be a problem at W feeders. Maybe they're the only schools where kids have the $$$ for this sort of thing.

True, but the wealthy W schools had this reputation even when I was in MCPS 20+ years ago, so not unsurprising.

Whitman and Churchill had a reputation for this kind of thing even 20+ years ago. This is nothing new.

The NBMS kids get their drugs in the drug tunnel next to the school. It's a drainage sewer fullmof graffiti were the dealers hang out. The older kids/teens seem to get drop offs from cars in the parking lot just past dog walking hours in the later evening. I live in the neighborhood it's been this way for years and years. The difference is, sooner or later it will be a fentenyol problem.

Ps. Often enough, the kids are hooked up by the boys in the hallway house on Greentree.
