She is a confident woman who turns heads and has joie de vivre but that outfit is not flattering. She needs to always be the center of attention (similar to Madonna).

Agree. I will get flamed--but I look similar to her and have a 6-pack. I have great olive skin, no wrinkles or lined, crepey neck--it's smooth.

I am one year younger--I turn 54 in Feb. and nobody avoids the meno midsection shift w/out surgery. Even if you do all the same things, eat healthy, still exercise daily, etc. you will gain some weight and it will all settle in the belly area. In yoga pants I look like that in the midsection and you can see my obliques, etc no rolls pooch that is flat under the high yoga waist band. But for the very first time I have some 'jelly' right around the belly button area.

I hate it. Sorry. She’s obviously beautiful and clearly has an amazing body, but I think the outfit is awful.

I don't know why everyone thinks a 54 year old woman is going to look fat and saggy. I'm 54, I have a great body (not as great as hers, but great).

A bit of a bummer. Was a reminder that no matter how much money and power women have, they will always be reduced to a sexual object.

She’s a beautiful woman and didn’t need to wear a spare car part to get attention.

I really hope this doesn't become the new prom dress trend.

+1 absolutely not a fan but I love the look and design on her. I do think she is aging but still looks great. The only celeb who has really fought off aging like some divine warrior is Cher.

Of all the outfits in the world, why would she pick that one? Underboob or not, it's just ugly.

She's a gorgeous woman, with more money than God to use to nip/tuck and/or workout, and buy the things that make her look like she does. And good for her. Wish I did.

Having said that, I think this outfit is horrible, tacky, and not flattering whatsoever. Underboob on anyone is just not a good look. And not b/c I have an issue with tight/short/revealing clothes. I don't. But, it's just ugly. Really ugly.

I absolutely hate how our society rags on absolutely beautiful women. Sure, some people won't like this look in general (raising my hand) - but "menopausal tummy"? Omg shut up. She's a stunning woman aging in a human body. She has to hide her stomach because of her age? Firstly, I think it's fine for celebs to wear weird things on stage or on red carpets or award shows - I'm sure she's in her ripped jeans and sweats when she's home and not working. Secondly, there's nothing wrong with seeing a menopausal stomach (I don't quite know what that means, but it's natural). Human beings age - that's okay!

You mean she isn't wearing metal breastplates when she's at home lounging? My respect for her just dropped big time.
