EOD = explosive ordnance detonation.

Important stuff to practice and get right.

Could we really hear/feel that here?

This doesn’t sound safe at all. Why is it even allowed?

Which part isn't safe? Exactly where should they be doing these highly supervised and heavily controlled exercises? I live 30 miles from a major marine base, I can hear when they're doing their ordinance exercises and sometimes feel it - never has it been a concern not to me or to our neighbors.

I am new to this area. But this sounds like an OSHA violation.

Someone should report this, and get it shut down.

Oh, sweetie.

The “sweetie” comments are so stupid. And you are dropping them on multiple threads. So much more annoying than someone expressing concern about OSHA violations.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. PP, welcome to the DC area (and stop calling it the DMV).

OSHA? I don't think you know what OSHA does.

"The Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSH Act) was passed to prevent workers from being killed or otherwise harmed at work. The law requires employers to provide their employees with working conditions that are free of known dangers."

How in the world does OSHA play a role in your fantasy?

I thought it was a construction accident or earthquake.

Really? What is the exact OSHA violation here, Ms New Arrival? Please tell us.

There is no OSHA on a military base.
