I never spend more than $18ish on any bottle. My restauranteur friends say there's rarely reason to.
If a "restaurateur" [there's no n, PP] can't tell the different between average and good/great wine, I don't want to eat at their restaurant.
Is it possible, PP, that knowing you and your palate your friend said that there's no reason
for you to pay more than $18 for a bottle of wine?
