I think you'll find that just like most Democrats are not AOC, most Republicans aren't Lauren Boebert. In other words, if you occupied a centrist position as a Democrat, you'll find that being a centrist republican isn't that far of a reach.
I can’t separate Republicans from their anti-abortion position.
It's hard for me to separate Democrats from their soft on crime stance.

My problem isn’t with biden. My problem is with the next generation of democrats. I will certainly vote biden again. He represents my views very well. He is a sane democrat.
Then work on supporting non-antisemitic candidates in those districts. But taking out the Biden Administration in favor of Trump and MAGAs in 2024 is just a really dumb thing to consider.

I understand why Democrat extremists are pushing away Jewish voters I just don’t understand why Republicans are an acceptable alternative? Especially while Democrats in office are consistently supporting Israel.
Genuinely asking. I’d like to understand.
I think this crowd care about supporting zionism and not stopping real antisemitism.
That seems to be the real deal.
Because anyone who is truly wiling to shunt aside all else for Israel isn’t making very sound choices.
I agreed with you a month ago. But there is a difference between being critical of Israeli politics, and what is currently happening on the left. Rashida tlaib just tweeted a video of people chanting from the river to the sea- saying it’s “an aspirational call.” It’s an aspirational call to annihilate israel and Jewish people. There is a growing squad comprised of overt anti semites like her. Biden is not an anti semite. But the next generation of democrats are increasingly so. I will vote for biden. But what’s happening in the house amongst democrats, and what will eventually hit the senate, is gravely concerning.
Wake me up when "the sqaud" are in any sort of leadership in national dem politics or in the House.
With an attitude like this, you’ll be crying ten years from now that extremism is the mainstream in the Democratic Party. You have to stop the disease *before* it has spread too far.

All those hijab wearing protesters are not republicans. Def democrat voters and I don’t want to be associated with people who want to kill me…
The fringe left, sure.
Look at Core MAGAs, like the Evangelicals running the House and Trump, who will be the GOP nominee.
Big difference between fringe left and mainstream GOP.
Vote for them at your peril.
The fringe left isn’t so fringe anymore. Democrats need them for a house majority. I told myself the same thing in 2018, 2020 and 2022. But this past month has changed the way I see things. I am loyal to biden, I have always liked him, rooted for him even before he announced he would run against trump and will throw my support and dollars against his next campaign. But I’m represented by a member of the squad in the house and I will not ever vote for them again. I have never voted for a Republican in my life. Honestly not sure what I’ll do- but I assure you my congressperson will never again see my vote and many ppl in my district feel similarly.

Republicans are not a suitable alternative. Extremism in both parties is a major issue.
True.
But...extremism in the GOP is now the mainstream MAGAs. Extremism on the left is fringe. Kinda a difference.
