The current Superintendent, Michelle Reid, was previously employed in Washington State, not from within FCPS.
She is terrible though, and she is taking FCPS in all the wrong directions, such as her “restorative justice” push, dismantling AAP, neglecting Dranesville, etc.

Can it be true that this person is not actually an experienced and licensed school librarian?!!!! If so, what an appalling step down from Priscille Dando, who may have been the most capable and extraordinarily talented person in instructional services overall.
