Believe me, I am also fed up with prices and wish I could cut back on everything, but with two teens the expenses just keep racking up. We did make a few cuts to household expenses to offset BS price increases
I have two teens, too. Sooo expensive. I could eat cereal for dinner and be happy, but they can eat the equivalent of two full meals in one sitting.

So weird that companies only became greedy when Joe Biden took office. One would have thought that these diabolical profit machines would have thought of jacking up prices earlier.

I applaud you OP and am with you. I'm an immigrant and know how not to spend money anyway. It's harder now that I'm married to an American and have a child as my spouse has no idea how to save and invest in general. I have to constantly put breaks on spending in our household. We don't go out to eat much, only on special occasions ( like maybe 5 times a year), we never order any take outs. We do splurge on travel 1-2 a year ( we love travelling). We never buy any coffee and drive older cars. We have enough money to retire, but still keep going because our child is still in school and heading soon to college.

I am with OP. Sick of feeling ripped off every time I go to restaurant - small portions, expectations of 35 percent tip including tax, indifferent or hostile service. Screw it.
Hotels adding all sorts of BS fees and airplanes packed full. TSA lines that take an hour. Plus, most places sort of suck anyway. Poor countries where everyone is expecting a handout or bribe and rich ones where the service is crap.

I'm with you OP. I've done some spending reduction.and only buying food and a few things we need, but am really cutting back on Christmas this year.
The increased prices don't seem to be passed down to the service / retail / other workers, so I'm getting disgusted with all the price increases.
The oy way prices are coming down is if we stop buying stuff that many of us can't really afford anyway.

2) I cut cable and land line years ago and only have one streaming service, bought a $28K car new in 2017 and paid it off in 3 years so no car payment; I really don’t need any more clothes.
