I really wish people would call 311 when they see someone who is 'off'. So many are chronic homeless, substance, mentally ill... And yes, they attack and kill. If your instinct is to get away, call in a wellness check once you are in safety.
That's singling out people of certain races. How would you like to have police called on you every time you ride the bus, just because you are neurodiverse?
What are you saying? That the people who are singled out for being neurodiverse are only from certain races?

I once was on a subway train with someone who was off and trying to start an altercation on the train. A guy tried to pull the emergency stopped and I screamed at him to stop because wed all get stuck with that guy in a tunnel. Thank God he listened. Said crazy person left at next stop.

Matt Frumin needs to make it a priority to get PIA out of its current location near any number of schools. Ideally PIA should relocate inside the fenced compound of the DC jail. It’s unconscionable that DC houses violent, psychotic offenders in a facility with barely any security.
But then we would lose the naked guy in the middle of Wisconsin Ave. Local color!

What's interesting to me is the same time all this new urban vibrant housing is being pushed, literally NOTHING is being done for quality of life. What's wrong with this picture?
