. The pita is for dipping in the hummos, not for making sandwiches. I’m assuming this is the flat Arabic bread pita in wedges, not the puffy American pocket pitaAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I think it sounds great. I’m middle aged and I LOVE rice, as do my friends. Though I agree that you don’t really need it if you are serving pita.
Maybe it's just my circle. ALL my middle aged women friends are perpetually dieting and avoiding carbs.
It IS just your circle. In my circle, there is exactly one person who wont eat carbs, but she has disordered eating.
My circle eats carbs too. But agree that rice isn’t necessary if you already have pita since it’s not a meal.
Plus rice is messy if people aren't eating at table
All of it is messy. I'd rather have rice than dry pita bread. Blu, I'd rather eat with a fork than have to make a pita sandwich which is also very messy with the food falling out and dripping every where. I don't think a group of women want to eat sloppy food with their hands if this is the plan.

It is fine, however, to me that constitutes half of the food I would serve. It seems very small smorgasbord to my liking.

I am middle aged and just scarfed down a pita bread, whole danged thing. And potatoes for lunch! And had apples! Had rice on the weekend. Oh, and I am 120 lbs at 5'4".
Bite me. Wait, you actually might bite me as you are clearly in some starvation mode.
NP. Whoa. You are rude and no one cares what you weigh.
