nope. Never heard this name for a black male and I do know a lot of black people as I grew up in a majority African American community and attended and later taught in majority African American schools. White males and white females, about an even number of each.

I would assume female, but I know 2 children named Quinn, 1 M and 1 F.

My female assumption probably comes from the primary association the name has for me - Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Yes, that's the last name obviously, but Quinn = woman in my mind.

Either. There was a child actress in the TV show Family back in the 70s named Quinn, so it's not that new using it for females. My immediate thought is Quinn the Eskimo, anyone else?

Nope. I've known three Quinns, all white males. I know one man in his 50s, one college age guy and my kids have one classmate who is now in middle school with them (6th grade).

The only female Quinns I've heard of have all been television characters.

+1. Girls in my neighborhood include Ryan, Quinn, Finn... I can't think of dumber, more boring names for girls/women.

This reminds me of an incident a few years ago where I was talking baby names with a coworker. The topic came up that someone had named their baby boy Quinn and I said something like "that's a girl name". Turns out this coworker also had a male child named Quinn.
