If my kid had a 4.37 and AP level in all 5 core subject areas, and wanted to go to UVA? Then, sure, go ED.

A junior year 4.37 would be well above 4.4 at the point of graduation.
And has zero to do with you college application which is completed with junior year grades in the typical case.

Everyone new here- keep in mind that there are a handful of psycho moms that squat on this site and attempt to dissuade everyone and their brother from applying to UVA and WM. If your kid is getting out of West Springfield with a 3.7 or above and an SAT of 1300 or above he has a legit chance at admission.
+1. My ACHS kid got in with a 3.8 and a 1310. No sports.
3.8 UW or weighted? URM? First gen? National EC? I know UVA LOVES Alexandria City HS, but still surprised. Congrats!

Based on <50 percentile I would not, but 1380 is in the 92nd percentile overall and I don’t want them to think it’s like an 1100 if he doesnt submit.
I think the first two would be reaches, but VA Tech seems like a good target. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (?)
My 11th grade daughter is likely to have a similiar GPA and is interested in Business.
