He met me to give me the house code and show me how the electronic shades, pool cover etc work. When he greeted me, he handed me a bottle of red wine with a handwritten note. After the second bottle of wine, I got bold. I sat closer to him and put my hand on his leg. He took it from there and I enjoyed 3 lovely days with this man!!!

I’ve stayed in many, and this seems out of the ordinary, though some are more social than others. I have a friend who had an affair with her host though. She loved it

My friend is happily married and runs a few Airbnb rentals for a living. They are smaller places (apartments in a major city that draws mostly tourists, not business travelers) so usually 1-2 guests at most. Some of the single female travelers he said have come on to him, but he just ignores it as he's not interested. It's clear they are in town to have a "fun" vacation.

I’m old I had my fair share of opportunities like this and didn’t take them, (because I was hot but conservative). I still don’t regret it. I don’t enjoy sex when there’s no emotional intimacy. PP is probably the same.

Nah. I was in my late 40s when that happened and already had a rich sex life. Getting with him didn’t appeal to me in the least but he may have seen my face light up when he walked in because he really was dreamy.

for me airbnb means lowering stress and getting a good nap. the social component is what differs from hotels, because hotels got cheaper.

I came across a few Airbnb listings specifically stating they were for group s*x. This was in Las Vegas. No I didn’t book it.

Lol. May be some but not most. We've received flowers, wines and other small gifts from many hosts and we are older people who are very average looking and average earning.

Flowers, wines, chocolates and small gifts are nice and standard touches if present when you arrive. I receive those as well upon checking in and greatly appreciate them.

It is another thing altogether to have a host drop by after you’ve arrived and met initially, to bring by alcohol, flowers or small gifts. I would find that imposing on my privacy, comfort and expectations for my stay.
