It a home office. Coworkers aren't dropping in with notepads.

I think OP should get a job. Either her husband is having an affair or she is bored, but either way, a job will benefit her.

I would casually inquire about this w/my hubby.

I don’t see why you haven’t so far.

Just ask him about it in a non-confrontational manner & see how he reacts and what he responds back.

Speaking as a DP who has also had illicit sex in hotel rooms, I have in fact done work before and/or after (albeit not during). Not everyone is “bang and go” - depends on schedule and relationship of the parties involved.

"Hey, have you seen a notepad lying around? I wrote a phone number on it but now I can't find it. I think the pad said Fairmont on it."

My first thought is being at a work event at a hotel. Conference. A hotel notepad is sometimes all you can find.

No would grab a hotel notepad if they are having an affair.

Maybe it was his co-workers or his client's who forgot and left it there.
Controlling and non-trusting much?

I hope it’s nothing OP.

Right, say, ooooh the Fairmont did you have afternoon tea?

She can't...it's gone!

My first response--would have been to say 'hey-where did you get that notepad?'--not walk away and try to sleuth it out later.

I think OP is a troll.

Amen to the bold!

The bold is something I've started to wonder on almost every marriage-related thread here, PP. So, so many OPs who come here before they ever ASK their spouses about anything. I get not doing so if you have a fear of an abusive response, or if you're weighing what to do after repeated problematic incidents, etc. But I do not get this repeated trend of people who sit silently, observe things they think are suspicious or wrong, and say and do...nothing, except run to strangers for a read on it.

Oh sweetie, how do you know how stupid her husband is?
