My 3rd and 5th grader usually fold their own clothes. They did so last year when they were in 2nd and 4th. They did when they were in 1st and 3rd grade, but with some help for 1st grader.

If they have an exceptionally busy weekend with extracurricular activities, we might help them fold. But these weekends are rare, say a handful of times a year.

I mean generally, yes but there are often times when we haven't gotten around to folding the clothes yet and so the kids pull it from the pile in our room.My kids struggle with folding their own laundry (5&8) but help to put it away and help sort stuff. I strive to be the parent that folds it directly from the dryer but....busy life and ADHD so maybe wishful thinking.

Often, but not always. Sometimes I have the kids (5, 7, 9) fold their clothes, like if I've done just one load of laundry of all of their clothes combined. If I've gotten behind on laundry and there is a lot to fold then I just do it myself. I've taught the to Marie Kondo fold their clothes but they don't do a great job if they have a lot to fold and I end up redoing it all after they've gone to bed or while they're at school. it makes it so much easier for them to find clothes in the morning which leads to smoother mornings and fewer melt downs. Sock are paired and put in a drawer box. Underwear is is in a drawer box also.

Eh, 50/50. Sometimes I just shake it out and then lay it in the drawer flattish. They paw through everything and it gets unfolded anyway, so there doesn't seem much point in folding it.

Yes, I wash all. We all help fold and put away.

Yes, we fold their clothes (they help). No, the clothes do not stay folded for long because they are pulling things out of the bottom of their dresser drawer, taking things out and putting them back in, etc.

I have kids 2 and 4. Almost everything they own is cotton knit and doesn’t wrinkle. I fold (roll) for space conservation reasons, so all their clothes fit in the drawer and they can see to chose what they want without pulling everything out which is what used to happen when I did normal folds and stacked things. They help but still require significant oversight to get it right.

The only exception is really fancy clothes (like for being in a wedding type things) which are hung in a corner of my closet.

I do, but not undies or Jammies. Just anything that would otherwise be very wrinkled.

This. After age 10, at least.

Nope. DS is responsible for putting his clothes away. It is his choice to fold or not to fold.

Yep, same here. Kids do their own laundry. Solved a ton of problems. Everyone washes their own clothes and everyone keeps track of their clothes. We are all happier, and the kids are more responsible. DD sometimes asks me to iron something for her. I think she will understand the correlation between not folding and needing to be ironed. It doesn’t happen often enough that I mind.

Nope. I don't do my kid's laundry at all. They do their own and it gets tossed back into the laundry basket. Not sure that it ever makes it to drawers and I'm 100% ok with that.
