Maybe this is too obvious, but Patagonia. Buy one, wear it forever.

I run very cold and have large boobs. Much of my coldness is in the boob, collarbone, and neck area. A vest keeps this area warm while also allowing free movement of arms and shoulders. Most garments with sleeves are very pulling in this area due to being pulled across my chest.

Totally serious question - please explain.

Because for me it’s the opposite. A full coat can be too hot, particularly in DC’s in between seasons. With a vest I keep my core warm and protected from the wind but I’m not packed up like a sausage in a full coat.

Agree, it's much easier to walk the dog with full use of my arms.

They are good if you have lymphodema, hand/wrist surgery, anemia.

The thin fleece ones work well under thin rain jackets.

Indoors in winter when cold instead if turning heat up and drying out skin and hair.

It feels cozy indoors when a sweater or jacket would be hot or bulky.

I like them on days I'm running errands. It's chilly outside and going back and forth from my car into stores, but inside stores it gets way too warm or I have to carry my jacket. A vest is the perfect in-between.

What?????? You have mental issues. Or you don’t have an expanded horizon.
