I guess I’ll be an outlier and say you can recover if DH commits to change and therapy. And you get therapy too. We can’t possibly know whether your marriage is worth salvaging or not from one post. If I wrote a post about the problems in my marriage people would say divorce! But I don’t want to and I love DH.

we've had many arguments with my wife but has never been this bad. Husband must be seriously deranged or suffer from multiple personalities, he needs help or a diagnosis and, and only then love if he is back on the right path.

At this point I don’t know what to say. I enter the house and he says “ i hate you go to hell”
… just a regular Monday afternoon.
OP, we need more context. What was he wearing at the time? Was it some kind of costume?

He was depressed, and improved considerably with medication.

Show him that you won’t tolerate his outbursts. In your example, ask him to pull over, get out of the car and call an Uber.
