Praline in Bethesda has excellent homemade chocolates.

If it is the box of chocolates is from Walgreens, hard no to any of them. So gross. Childhood valentine nightmares.

The only good ones are dark chocolate with nuts. Everything else is too sweet.

Best is dark chocolate with marzipan, or dark chocolate with toffee.

Nostalgic flavors from being a kid are raspberries cream and vanilla cream.

Anything white chocolate is not worth my time. Most things with nuts aren't good.

Best: Toffee coated with dark chocolate. Worst: Anything with white chocolate.

The worst box of chocolates is anything you can buy in a grocery store or a pharmacy (e.g., CVS). Worst individual chocolates: nougat, gels, caramel, plain vanilla, mint. Best chocolates: any dark chocolate with nuts, toffee, fruit flavored, liqueur flavored, exotic without being too ‘out there’. I don’t get the coconut hate.

Best is toffee, worst is the fruit nougat but I'll still eat it. After giving birth I demolished a whole box of these and it's a cherished memory!

Chocolate with almonds. In my tummy. Quickly.
