Great idea! This might be it, very unique. I happen to also love this brand and I know she doesn't have anything from S.M. Novella!
OK, OP. Nice try. Seems to me this entire thread (and all of PP's time) has been wasted. You have a friend who you said likes specific things and you've been given many good suggestions within that framework, with none of them hitting home. But now ... all of a sudden, there is a "random" suggestion for a somewhat obscure Italian fragrance company's expensive wax tablets - and voila! You have the gift!
Let me guess - you're somehow connected to SMNovella??
You called it.
Hi, S.M. Novella owner or publicist! Picky people don’t want their clothes smelling of anything at all. And definitely don’t want wax near their expensive materials.

I would find that hilarious and thoughtful because I am obsessed with my dog and it would acknowledge her importance to me (and that it’s a little silly.).
She recently commissioned an IG artist to do a portrait of her dog, but it would also be way outside my budget. We try to stay within the $50-$100 budget with each others gifts.
How about this then? https://equestrianstockholm.com/shop/dog/dog-collars/dog-collar-pink-crystal/?attribute_dog-collar=30
And if her taste is more classic/less flash (unlikely since IG), this is an amazing quality product and what I buy my own dog: https://www.fennells.com/rolled-dog-collar.html.
