Looking forward to the next season starting this March instead of like a year from now. Should be interesting to see if they stick with the hour and a half episodes.
This is the first time in a long time that I would have been happy with any of ghe final 3 teams winning. We were also rooting for Rob and Corey, but the brothers who won were unusually well-rounded (they kayak, studied musical composition, speak French, very athletic). They were smart and earned it.
The casting is EVERYTHING! I don't want to spend my tv time watching people bicker and fight. All of the final 3 teams were really positive and handled stress well.
I liked Anna Leigh and her dad for the first half of the season (when things were going well -- it's easier to get along). But I wanted to strangle Anna Leigh every show when she was telling her dad to hurry up and he's about to have heart attack. I cannot stand it when people are ignoring the real limitations of their partners. The dad was doing all that he could and she just keeps nagging him to go faster. (Same with Myrna and Charla--previous seasons). It offends me.
I did feel a little bad fir the mustachioed guy who wanted the money for his daughter with Down Syndrome.
Overall, great casting and a really enjoyable show.

Mirna yelling “Charlaaaa” is still etched in my brain.
Charla was pretty awesome. Her cousin was a bit much.
I miss the originial old timey Amazing Races where they had to budget their money, take a 30 hour t3rd class train ride across Vietnam, figure out how to get to another country without spoonfed flights. Hoping this season is back to more chances for creativity
DP. Yes!! And if they didn't have enough money for food, they didn't eat. Also, weren't the challenges much harder a long time ago? I remember one in Transylvania where the contestant actually had to drink pig's blood!!! I thought for sure she wouldn't do it, but she did, and then she got really sick afterwards.
They've pretty much gotten rid of all eating challenges now - to be more considerate of people's diets and restrictions? So people don't throw up?

Kim and Penn Holderness were super annoying.
I thought they were great, rooted for them and was very happy when they won, they deserved it! Their family videos are kind of goofy but you have to give them credit for finding a way to monetize life.
