10/7 @ Segra

10:00am - U15
12:00pm - U14

UPDATE

8:00am - U14
10:00am - U15

Is DCU streaming matches?

Syc often does so for these games you can go to their ig page for the link. It may be on a separate page per team.

No need to watch DCU14 with the W 9-2

I sometimes see clubs post scores on social media like Instagram -- generally the winning teams are the ones that post scores.

Bethesda played DC United Academy in 3 MLS Next games on opening weekend. They lost all 3 games and scored 1 goal.
Instead of the results, they made a post about the one goal

Then just go to dc uniteds page who also posts. Easy. It's instagram.

I only know the U15 SYC team, and yes, that team was better than DCU's U14s last year. They have at least three or four players who could be on the DCU U15 team, including two of the best players in the region in that age group. DCU has a new roster for that age group; we'll see how they do head to head. I'll take DCU and the points if anybody wants to count them out. Pipeline 2009 boys last year would definitely beat both of those teams head to head.

That SYC team also beat Red Bulls and Philly Union that season. I know they had a scrimmage set up twice with Pipeline but it never happened, which was unfortunate. I know people were anticipating that match up.

Anyhow, the team remained the same for the most part, should be doing well this season.

Based on these statements, if we could see the MLS Next Standings/Results from the 22/23 season for U14's, it shows SYC with much better results overall, including head to head, over DC United U14's?

Yeah, I don’t think DCU is playing a standard first team at that age either. They had a U14 who was playing with the U17s last year and played a number of 2010s on that team. If you think SYC has more talent than DCU, or is a better destination if you want to play pro, you have been spending too much time in Springfield. If you know soccer, there is absolutely no way you would evaluate talent and program in youth academies by looking at U14 league records. You are free to do so. But it probably better to watch them a few times in person and see how they play.

DCU doesn't care about winning a U14 match against SYC. It's a nice touch point for SYC parents evidently but United is working out players at that age group. They don't ever play their best 11 at the same time. The top players at SYC, and all other local MLS Next squads, are just below the standard DCU is looking for. I know this is hard to hear for certain parents, but team wins aren't the goal for thirteen year-olds with aspirations.

The only starter that didn't make it was out due to an injury so I guess you're partially correct. But why are you trying to downplay their win?

I am not, I was the one saying they would have beaten DCU last year, so just simmer down there.
