Many patients lose money when they go for a medical visit. Or get parking tickets because the doctor ran late, etc.
It is not right that only their time is perceived as having value.
I know sometimes they are late beyond their control, but they do not build this into their scheduling at all because they don't want to lose a DIME for downtime.
Correct. They schedule too many patients because they want more money and they think nothing of making you wait for way longer than the fifteen min grace period they allow patients before they flat out cancel their appts.
