I also love egg roll in a bowl and picadillo. This one is also a hit. Over rice, in taco shells, anything you want.

And these two vegetarian ones. add enough cheese and my kid will eat soup.

My family loves these, and they are good leftover too, so I'll make a double recipe next time. https://www.recipetineats.com/bun-cha-vietnamese-meatballs/

Pork cutlet with cheese - BTS Jimin’s favorite food, supposedly.

I do skim off the fat because I think too much fat impedes the sauce from soaking in. But I’m not anti-fat. We all need fat to survive and thrive, especially growing kids.

Food is constantly getting reinvented and if some want to be a stick in the mud about it, fine, but the rest of the world will experiment and enjoy. Omu rice, chicken tikka masala, Japanese curry rice - these probably all felt like violations at the time, but are now considered classics.

I'm Korean. I draw the line on putting cheese on all my Korean food.

Dak Galbi with cheese added is pretty common.

Pp. I haven’t crossed that line yet, but I’m open to it. I also won’t eat any of those cream cheese laden, fried “sushi rolls” that are drizzled with flavored mayo, but I realize that other people really enjoy them and it’s just an evolution of sushi.

Anonymous wrote:Someone recommended Korean Bulgogi beef with ground beef on this forum and I loved it.

Kid loved it for school lunch.

Easy to round out with frozen rice and veg.

Dump and cook in a one pan for 8-10 minutes, which I did happily at 10pm for the next day.

No crockpot mess, no giant pot or heavy Dutch oven or greasy sheet tray. No waiting for oven to preheat.

Can anyone recommend similar recipes that are great?

What does that mean? Make ground beef with bulgogi meat?

No, make bulgogi with ground beef.

that's sounds strange. how do you take fat out of ground beef?

NP. You cook the ground beef and then drain the fat…

Plus, why... would you need to take the fat out?

IDK because store bought ground beef is 10-25% fat?

Korean here. I wouldn't feed that to my kids.

Then don’t. Even 93% lean ground beef needs to have the fat drained. If you prefer meat swimming in rendered fat for your kids, go for it.

Oddly hostile response. You feed your kids whatever junk you want to feed.

Are you still pretending to not know what ground beef is

What an idiot!
