Non visible is misleading. Likely means it is visible while wearing shorts, or t-shirt, or tank, or certain shoes and sandals. And certainly in a bikini at beach or club pool.

What would look good on you and be meaningful to you at 20 is going to be a little different from what would look good and meaningful at 65. I think the number of 30+ year old tattoos that still look good are vanishingly small.
And, yeah, I guess some people would say that everybody looks crappy at 65, but I don't think that's really the case.
Not everyone over 65 looks like crap, that is too extreme, but certainly you can agree that no one ever looks at someone over 60ish and marvels at their natural beauty (you might think they look beautiful for their age, or think they must have been a great beauty in their youth, but that's a different thing)
I don't even have tattoos but my thinking has always been- why not just celebrate your old body as you want, instead of fearing that you don't conform to society's expectation of what people over a certain age should look like?

My teen sons (for now) feel the same- though we joke about the entire family getting our dog's face tattooed on our bodies. My 26 year old nephew got one which the whole family is not a fan of--he jokes about it too.
I see tattoos everywhere. Women with calves and full sleeves and tatted out.
I really hate the look of women in wedding dresses or beautiful evening gowns with tattoed arms and back. It just doesn't look right.
It doesn't look right to whom? If it bothered them, they wouldn't have gotten it or covered it.
For real. Plus, women in ball gowns with sleeves can be an incredible look. I think it can still be tasteful, but it gives an edgier vibe. This is a woman that I would want to talk with at a party
Eh, in general I wouldn’t want to talk to anyone who takes these kind of selfies. Dull, insecure, and self obsessed.

Talk to but for probably not for marriage as these arms would look bad once muscles get flabby and skin gets loose
And crepe skin in her 60s. Hi Grandma!
It looks like a drug dealer or a porn star going to the porn star award show.

I agree. Also, I'd rather no tatoos at all. I also feel this way about piercings, and that weird creepy habit of mutilating some little boys at birth.

I mean, I wouldn’t go out explicitly searching for a tattooed man, but my husband has tattoos from his late teens, but he’s successful at work, a wonderful husband and father, and he can F. I don’t think about his tattoos at all.
