She has wrinkles and she can talk and smile naturally.
I know I know - unfair comparing anyone to Meryl - I get that.
It’s just so great seeing an amazing actress doing her thing and comfortable with her wrinkles and laugh lines and crepey neck.
Can these other actors please take note?
+1

I’d like to focus on the article and read it, but instead I’m staring at the pics trying to pinpoint why they look so off.
Not the intended effect
If someone could copy and paste for those of us with subscription…
There are several in a People article

I’ve seen lots of great forehead work, some decent eye work (but some surprisingly bad work among really rich women), and absolutely no good mouth work. Maybe you get one set of shots but very quickly you start to turn into Janice from the muppet. I was at an event populated by rich women over 60 and almost all of them had those creepy mouths. Even Julia Louis Dreyfus’s is starting to look bad. I think I’ll just get old. (Although I am tempted to fix the forehead!).
Agreed.
Aniston, Courtney Cox, and Kristin Davis have all done something to their mouths that impacted their speech. Actors really shouldn’t go that route.

Ok.
I’m 50. I’m a mom, but I have several friends who tried to have a baby and failed. Some adopted (which is the normal response when you truly want to be a parent but can’t have a baby). Some didn’t…but they got on with life and aren’t in therapy or struggling with maintaining relationships. They certainly aren’t botoxing their faces like Aniston has.
While Aniston has a killer body and a celebrity lifestyle, she’s clearly struggling with life. It’s sad…but also a bit weird.
Um this post is incredible, imagine writing this about another human you don’t know and then just closing your browser and going about your day.

I read somewhere major A list stars were asked to stay away, because their fame and wealth detracts from the real issue--what the average journeymen are trying to live on.
