I'm not sure I'd find my way to what you want to share. Can you explain your distrust, in a nutshell?

As far as I can see, she's the ONLY councilmember demonstrating common sense right now and that's what I judge her by. If she fs up down the road, I'll determine. But for now I think Pinto bashing reflects more on lazy reflex (yes, my hubby can do that) than her.

Anonymous wrote:I am not a Ward 2 voter. I don't expect Pinto to get any serious opposition in the D primary. She's been very outspoken on crime issues in DC (and rightly so) and this will play well with her rich white resident base and rich white downtown donors.
I have a better opinion now of her than I did when she was first elected. She seems to have a pretty good grasp on the issues. She's also pretty public, engaging with press. She's definitely a big step up from crooked Jack Evans, who apparently is shameless enough to be considering running for the Ward 2 seat again. Please, don't, loser.

Keep on complaining, but if crime rates do not decrease soon, we will not have a viable downtown as businesses continue to shut down and leave the city. Which means no one will want to be in DC, and jobs will go away, and people will move away.
Ask your council members why aren't making crime the VERY FIRST PRIORITY RIGHT NOW.
