Just use a swifter mop for easy use and clean up. Done.

I don’t want to make that much trash

But gallons of gross vinegar water is better?

What's wrong with vinegar water? it's non toxic, what's the problem.

So then the kitchen sink is fine

How do some of you have debris in your mop water? Vacuum, then mop.

Huh? Sinks are also plumbing

And what debris? It's just dirt from the floor, you put worse things down the toilet and shower daily.

Sinks have a strainer. Hair, muck, my mop water isn't pristine, toilets aren't magic.

Um, not all sinks have strainers. And you need to vaccum before you mop girl!! If you're mopping hair and muck you're just pushing dirt around.

This country needs mandatory home ec.

Yes. It goes through a water treatment plant. Solid waste is around for decades if not longer.

Meh. I’m not worried about the amount of waste generated by a swiffer. It’s funny that people live in McMansions and claim to be green. You’re tinkering around the margins of an environmentally damaging life.

I have never used a mop in my life and I’m 50 lol.
I vacuum our main level every other day with a shark. We have laminate and rugs. I use a swifter after that probably twice a week.

This is a recipe for plumbing clogs.
