It’s what happens when the vast majority of the Board of Trustees are finance people. That means they only care about one thing…and it’s not academics. Would think twice about sending my kid to such a toxic environment

It’s board is under fire too

Wow, didn’t know there were so many issues with NU leadership. Although I guess I’m not surprised. It’s the leadership that sets the culture for the school and why they are in the pickle they are in now

Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, U Penn-Wharton will almost always be the preferred choice. Probably Yale as well.

Duke, U Michigan, & U Penn (non-Wharton admits) are probably 50/50.

Northwestern is likely to be the preferred choice over WashUStL for most.

You don’t seem to understand what overlap means

On the existence of core requirements, the differences will be slight.

+1. I can’t speak for Columbia, but I’ve also seen a fair amount choose between Penn and NW, split about half/half.

Duke, Penn, Johns Hopkins, and UChicago

Maybe nowadays but in the past I’ve seen Duke and Penn be very favorable for cross-admits against Northwestern. I think Northwestern, Hopkins, UChicago, Cornell are all very similar though

As of late I’ve seen a lot of Duke vs Northwestern matchups, w split about even
