A “failure”? Some people really look for things to whine about.
Yeah people are dramatic. Looking on the state's website. They don't have 2023 date yet. So assume we are waiting on them.
I don’t blame APS or care that much but a) the state has SOL results already, and if they (state and/or county) really should communicate why they are taking so long to be released and b) that document was pointless and raised more questions than it answered so it’s silly that they put it on parentvue.
Maybe Youngkin fired the number crunchers so it takes longer to calculate percentiles.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:why do they hold the results for so long?
They wait to include the state data.
FCPS posts SOL scores in mid-June.

As in the 21-21 year. So that is weird. It isn't even scores. It is comparing his 3rd and 4th grade percentiles (he is going into 6th and took 5th grade tests last year)
Same or similar document posted in my kid's account. Going into 5th grade this fall, and they posted just the 3rd grade scores and nothing for 4th, so we don't even see a comparison. Was this what they intended?
That's what I got too. Totally useless and must be a mistake.
I actually laughed out loud. All this holding up the scores for the completely wrong document.
I mean it's not the wrong document. It is a new assessment the state puts out.
It doesn't have data from this year because the state only included data from 2015 to 2022. But I agree that it is odd that your last yr scores aren't on there.
