Has the VA talent fallen off this much that Pride is not considered a Top 200? Generally Pride’s MS teams were consistently ranked in the Top 20 and just three years ago their HS team was ranked as high as #8. What’s happened?

Seems fairly accurate. If adding other regions, YJ M&D and MDU are top-3, not sure there's anyone else close.

Never seen YJMA play, what tournaments have they done?

When I go into work on Monday I will mostly talk about work with my colleagues. I certainly won’t read through an online thread of a sport for a year that my kids aren’t involved in, mock those parents, and then point it out to my work colleagues. That behavior seems psycho.

I'm totally familiar with all of this (and hockey). I want you to all go into work on Monday and tell them about this threat and see what they think! I showed people at my work and you can guess what they thought about sixth-grade parents discussing their girls' national rankings! I love you all, please tell me how much I'm wrong!

I just read the entire thread and it seems measured and positive. What’s psycho about asking where different teams stand and where players come from?

Mostly right, but coppermine could be top 15 and YJMA top 25

For 2029s there are only 201 ranked teams, some of these seem too low given how many bad teams there are around the country

It is primarily the former MC Elite 2030 team with a few new girls who joined this summer. Both Nova and MoCo girls

Who is the head coach?


Coaches. There are typically 3-4 at practice. Mostly former W&M Div 1 players. One is former YJ from Long Island and W&M lax alum. Head coach is former high school UA all American from W&M where she was the captain, former goalie from W&M, and the guy played club at UVA, I believe.
