During covid, my DH and I doubled down on ridiculous but fun lounge clothes for hanging around the house - we have all these insane floral matching sets, house dresses, and other fun things that when we put on, it means work is done for the day. We were explaining this to my BIL recently, and he just could not wrap his head around why we'd do this. He wasn't judgey; just didn't understand why clothes could be fun.
So I am totally digging her take on this. And to the PP above, no I don't think I'll ever get sick of barbie, at least not the fashion.

Here are a few other pics. And thanks to pp for pointing out Ryan Gosling's outfits! I love that he's playing along too!

It is "unexpected" because it doesn't follow your agenda--but whatever you really are just speaking your thoughts out loud and talking to yourself, no real person cares about outfits an actress wears to promote a movie to make money for a studio
Oh sh$t am I not a real person? How am I going to break this to my kids…
Thanks for letting me know this important info PP! You are a Good Samaritan.

That's fine that the post are deleted none of us (except Jeff) own this site what can we do, continue talking to yourself in the mirror, because that is what in effect you are doing here. But this all makes sense in our selfie/twitter culture that lacks an understand of communcation science (yes that is a thing); just because you are putting words and images out there doesn't mean that people are influenced by it--there is a method to establish credibility and influence, and insulting people's intelligence isn't it. There is backlash all over regarding the Barbie promotion, it has become a joke. I am just trying to be helpful and point this out to you but oh well.

That made me tear up. I got the peaches and cream Barbie after something myself. I just googled to see her again.
I was just trying to explain to a guy at work that some women have significant memories associated with these dolls and seeing some of the outfits Margot's been wearing is really meaningful.

Anonymous wrote:This was one of my most sought-after Barbie outfits. Most people had stopped playing with Barbie when it came out (1986...that's a calculator, not a cell phone), but I didn't care. I loved is so much. Seeing Marot in it made me laugh. Cheers to her stylist.

Not exactly the press tour, but love her look at Wimbledon!

What an adorable (and very Barbie) luggage set.
+1
It’s a genius way to promote when she can’t do red carpets and the like. And bonus points, I believe she still fronts for Chanel and that jacket and those pumps are pure and obvious Chanel.
I look for ways to post my favorite SNL clips and this is my favorite Margot Robbie one:
