YES. Thank you. I hate this message for girls (and women). I don't even want to watch Season 3 if it follows the books (which I didn't read, but googled the plot...) and puts her back on the rollercoaster.

SO funny, I also just caught up on Wednesday. I didn’t think anybody cared to talk about the last episode, and don’t come back here.

The most entertaining was Conrad in the car. Until then, I was almost tuning out. But as soon as he started quietly freaking out / pushing the issue in the car, I was back in.

I also liked the diss album, but was worried for Steven there for a minute …. I was very worried he’d hit an unexpected low. (My nephew looks just like him, so I know people don’t think he’s cute, but I think he’s a real cute kid.)

I’m not incredibly happy with who she chose, but it makes sense. And she was realizing people give space and come back together over time, in all different times of life. A little gross how the boys keep screwing up their timing of pursuing her, though.

What should have happened was they all just take time away from very busy else. The guys who really like her will call her, care about her. But let her GO to the guy she wants to hang out with. Give her the ultimate space and freedom. I guess the flood and awkward motel made it impossible.

I'm happy for him to go out to California and start anew. Maybe he's low on vitamin D and some more sun will do him good.

Conrad looks inward and thinks he's protecting everyone by shutting them out.

Jeremy looks outward and tries to connect with people where they are, but at the expense of personal growth and self advocacy.

Both boys need to find better balance.

I can't get behind Staylor. It's like Steven is using her like a security blanket before going off to college.

In the books, it's explained that Laurel called Susannah by her surname in college. She also kept calling Susannah 'Beck' because she wasn't on board with Susannah changing her name for a man when she got married.

(I don't know why they introduced the name without the explanation in the show.)

Season 1 of this show was cute & pretty watchable. Season 2 was terrible all the way through to the end. How does this happen?!

Can someone explain why Susannah's name is Susannah but then sometimes they call her "Beck"? Does she have two names?
