I've been there twice and chlorine smell is same as any other indoor pool.

In my experience, 50% of seats are open. Above posters complaining about seats must have been there on holiday weekend or Saturday.

White, Black, Asian, Indian, Hispanic; people with every kind of tattoo, and face ring; fat, skinny, muscular, smooth skin, lesions, wheelchair(in the water play area!) ; swimsuits, wetsuits, bikinis, burkinis, mennonitinis. No banana hammocks, though. And every kind of disease in the crowded lobby and indoor water park.

$3 egg and cheese muffins, and $12 fast food burgers and $8 fries.

It’s hard to get seating at the Perryville location. If you leave you lose your seat. You would waste too much time going off resort for food so you are stuck. Their food is hideous.

I’m guessing it’s just super crowded because of the Easter holiday and lots of spring breakers. We went a few weeks ago, and it seemed busy but fine. And my kids liked the pizza! We also got food at a sushi place in town that was less than 10 minutes away. That worked out well if anyone is looking for different food options.

Too many low class fat people. That said, my kid had a blast.

They wish they were Walmart! There you get value and service.

I’m Indian American as well and went for 2 nights. It’s a very very diverse crowd. Everything from a man with “White Pride” tattooed on his back to a woman in a Burkini.

I will say I have never seen so many neck tattooes in one place before. Make of that what you will.

“New” Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville, MD. For starters this is not close to Baltimore, but I can chalk that up to creative marketing. What I’m struggling with is how run down this new facility is. We recently went to GWL in Perryville and overall had a good time. However, there was one aspect of the waterpark I did not like leading me to searching online and finding this post.

There’s an area at the slides that have water guns, and I observed white kids hanging out by the guns targeting minorities. Didn’t think of it much the first day, but same thing happened the next day, and this time when I looked at the child, he yelled an obscenity to me.

We are an Indian family, and this left me feeling unsettled. It could have been just the crowd that weekend.

Wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar on their visit. I wish they would get rid of those water guns.

I believe you can start using the waterpark at 1 p.m. or thereabouts the day you check in. You go to the front desk and they give you your bracelet to get into the park, which you'll use as a room key. If your room isn't ready, they will text you the room number when it is.

You can use the waterpark until checkout time, if I'm not mistaken.

You are correct about arrival.

But on the day you check-out, you have full access to the water park for the day. We typically check out and then head to the water park and stay the day. We have lunch at the park and then we stay until 4-5 pm and then leave. We get dinner on the way home.

Not according to their website. You can arrive any time and use the waterpark before check-in.

I do think it was a bit overcrowded - the lines were quite long for everything, enough that it became frustrating (especially check in and magic quest).

The drive from DC was...well, a drive up and down 95, which sucks pretty much no matter what. I thought it would be a bit easier than getting to Williamsburg, but it wasn't really. I don't drive a lot though.

The facility is new

Pp here. Never finished my thought. It is new and very clean. The rooms don’t have carpeting which is nice for cleanliness, less nice for hearing stomping.
