I like it 95% of the time. I hardly ever hear him and when I do he is talking loudly because he's venting about work drama (usually opposing counsel shenanigans) and tbh it's fun to hear. I also like being able to take him food because at the office he often works through lunch and comes home starving. And he is just fun to talk to, and the kids enjoy being around him more as well.

I don't like it when he is judging me for how I spend my time. Sometimes, if he sees me on my laptop, I can tell that he's curious if I'm just messing around on DCUM or doing something important. Drives me nuts. I'd never pop up to his office and look to see whether or not he was using his time well at work!

I am not a sahm but my office closes on federal holidays and DH's does not so I almost always have the kids on days when school and daycare are closed. He is full time WFH

I cannot stand when he's WFH and I am home with the kids.

He pops in and out....we will doing an activity and everything will be fine...then he will come out of his workspace and see and quickly play with the kids and then BAM! he needs to jump on a call....the activity we were doing is now abandoned and now the kids are out of sorts and we need a new activity.

One of the kids is crying and or tantrumming and he thinks he is helpful when he comes in....but nope, all it does is take us off course or lengthen a tantrum.

Drives me nuts. I could never be a sahm with him WFH.

LOL my husband is like this. He works in sales leadership so always on the phone and he always wanders around the house while talking, sits in different places and in different rooms for various video calls, etc.

I’m a SAHM with a husband who has been WFH for about a year. I like how much more helpful he is but do miss having some truly alone time. I think a hybrid with a couple days a week in the office would be ideal. It’s certainly better than his old job of 60 hours a week in the office.

My guess is she’s tired of making a show of actually working and wants him out of the house more so she can go back to her reality of being lazy. She’s afraid he will figure out how good she actually has it.

I wouldn’t call myself lazy, but DH suddenly became very jealous during WFH when he wasn’t really before. SAH is a sweet gig, I’ll be the first to admit. I’m so glad the days he goes in.

My SAHH (retired) hates it when I work from home. Makes it harder for him to watch TV in my office.

It's just a turnoff.....right or wrong I am not attracted to a man who WFH and would never have married anyone who did.

I'm not a SAHM, but when my DH WFH, he leaves dishes around, sometimes makes a mess cooking himself lunch, and leaves papers all over the kitchen island.

I was a SAHM for many years but went back into the workforce because I love working. DH is trying to retire early and be a SAHD. I’m fine with it. We both get a chance to do it!
