There are great stops for kids in VT. Plan a road trip for them, and you’ll enjoy the leaves on the drive.

I love being in New England in the fall. It does come much quicker than it will here so plan accordingly. I took my kids when they were probably 6 or so and we rented a log cabin/Chalet in the Mount snow area and then a cute country inn/farm in Manchester. My kids loved it but they are easy to please for the most part. We especially loved Manchester and hiking.

Leaf peeping for kids is generally boring. But, if you do hikes, mini golf, try different restaurants, get ice cream. Do fun things in the leaf peeping area but do more than looking a foliage or your kids “will die”!!!
