Casey DeSantis is a full partner with her husband--she accompanies him to his campaign events and speaks on his behalf and she is his closest advisor, which includes directing his staff on what to do. She also endorses his policy views completely. As such, she deserves to be criticized.

I'm the PP. Yes, correct. HRC is a similar example of a very involved, as-ambitious-as-her-husband candidate's wife--just on the left. As a woman, I'm conflicted about these strong wives of candidates. On the one hand, I want women to succeed in politics and wish there were as many female as male politicians; on the other hand, I'm not comfortable with women who try to access power through their husbands. I wish they could run on their own and win on their own merits. But the bottom line is that, as a nation, we don't seem comfortable electing women presidents. I expect that Casey will get a lot of flack like Hillary did, except Casey is probably better at managing her messaging and playing the feminine, supportive role when required.

No. But I thought the question was the subjunctive “what would you lose”. In the event that DeSantis becomes president, he, with the support of his wife, would push for a national abortion ban which would affect me negatively. I have not yet lost anything due to DeSantis’ policies except for my time since I have to listen to my mother (who does live in Florida) getting progressively more pissed at “that idiot governor”.

She is open to criticism. On policy. But, the name calling that this panel so gleefully engaged in was over the top. SHE is not running. She is supporting her husband.
And, it's rich that David Jolly has the audacity to critique her. He lost to Charlie Crist. And, Charlie Crist lost miserably to DeSantis. So, one could say David Jolly is a huge loser.
If there is a "karen" in this equation - it would be David Jolly or the woman who has several other "names" for Casey DeSantis.
