Like - Alejandro

Eh - Lee, Stellan (be prepared for accidental leaving off of the "n" and people thinking girl named Stella instead)

Nope - Silas, Beau

If your last name begins with "C," I would avoid Caspian.

1-Theodore: Cute but trendy.
2-Jasper: That jerk from The Holiday
3-Rowan: Ready to joust, also a tree
4-Alistair: Horrific misspelling of "all star"
5-Caspian: "Like the sea?"

Rowan is at the top

Theodore (I prefer Theo to Teddy but it depends on the kid) and Jasper are tied as ok

Alistair and Caspian are tied waaaay at the bottom

The only Rowans I know are girls. What about Ronan? I really like it.

Alistair - pretentious and ugly
Caspian - trying too hard
Rowan - ugly name
Jasper - oh, he's British? If not, do not use. Similar to Nigel.

Teddy is an established nickname for Theodore. It was a US President's name, for god's sake. "Claire Bear" is a silly term of endearment. Come on.(DP)

Teddy still sounds stupid and cutesy. And Teddy Roosevelt was born over 150 years ago - just because something was done then, doesn't mean it should be done now.

All the names are fine. The name that you connect with the most is the one I think you’ll be the happiest with.

Look at this particular list. It provides today’s most popular boys names, and then alternatives to each particular name.:
