I guess it is a reactive pendulum swing and hopefully will settle back in the middle as it isn't great for boys or girls growing up with the current social cultural norms they are being taught about men.
Eventually it will balance and the masses will figure out you can empower women without trashing and kicking and hating and blaming and disrespecting men.
OP here. Thanks for this thoughtful post. I think itis trendy to hate men, and blame then for everything. I don't like it, honestly. I also don't like the way our culture has pushed aside their feelings and needs - resulting in men with no or few friends and a reliance on their wives and girlfriends to socialize. I don't see this in my parents' generation. My dad socializes with his friends, organizes get-togethers with his group apart from my mother (he is early 80s if that matters, and she late 70s).

But they take out the trash, pick up dead animals, talk to the plumber, clean the hair out of drains, make dinner, put kids to bed, and generally do a lot of that gross sh!t around the house that I don't want to do. I honestly wonder what I bring to this marriage. And for all that I can handle his hating the pool, being socially awkward, having atrocious handwriting, not ever putting his keys on their designated hook.

Men generally think criticizing their spouses reflects poorly on them for having settled down with a fat/flat/dumb/whiny woman, but most women seem to have no such filter or inhibitions.
You have got to be kidding. Men criticize women all over the internet. There are more women on here because it's a mommy board. If they are complaining about their men it's because of their men and their way of dealing with them. What is wrong with anonymous? They might not be in the right, but why come on here if you think it's all fake? Why don't you get this basic fact about this website? Go watch some red pill advice if you want to watch men giving bad advice to men and not think like you are describing. Your boy Andrew Tate and all of them never think anything about a woman reflects bad on them. Just on the woman. In fact you seem to agree as well. Woman complains about Man. Woman's fault only. That seems to be your line of thinking.
You’re tedious and whiny but if you were my spouse (you aren’t) I’d still suck it up.

+1
We are on vacation right now and he was playing with our son in the ocean this morning. When he got out of the water he had that scruffy summer hair look, and definitely the best body on the beach. Now I can’t wait till DS goes to bed tonight.

Gross. Nobody wants to hear that.
