This thread is giving me the heebie jeebies!
I don't typically get mani-pedis, I can count the times I've gone somewhere for one without needing all my fingers and toes - which I still have, thankfully. I typically do mani-pedi work at home - yes it's not so fun, but if you knew the stories of some people who've lost digits, limbs and lives from the infections they're acquired in public nail salons . . . you might think twice.
Please, next time you are cut and bleed at a nail salon, LEAVE IMMEDIATELY - and no, you don't pay for that.
PLEASE, pay very close attention as you are healing. Look up the symptoms of blood infection/sepsis - they can build slowly and very quickly become deadly. And yes, you should call your doctor's office - the nurse is fine - for advice how to treat this wound to best ward off infection.
Obviously don't ever let that nail tech work on you again.
