There are a huge number of even small things that could be done. For example, researchers found that introducing even a small amount of red seaweed into the diet of cows would significantly reduce the amount of methane produced in their gut, by as much as 80%.

We should be listening to scientists instead of political pundits and talking heads.

And why do conservatives who don't believe any of those narratives the OP posted still support all of the far right "think tanks" and organizations that have been promoting those narratives? Talking about ALEC, Heritage Foundation, American Enterprise Institute, CATO, Heartland Institute, Manhattan Institute, and all the rest? They peddled climate denial for years. And they used FOX News and many other conservative outlets to sow FUD around the whole climate debate, to the tune of billions of dollars, funded by a whole host of organizations and corporations - who you "mainstream" conservatives supported and continue to support.

Republicans shoot them down and water them down at the behest of their corporate donors but also so that they can then point at those now-weakened and undermined efforts as "virtue signaling" because they are now only weak and ineffective half-measures. So it's sabotaging efforts to save the planet along with creating yet another mechanism for attacking the left.
