I think it's kind of weird that the exact same people who say "YoU cANT tRUsT tHe GuBMiNT" are so willing to fall over themselves and immediately trust some rando who claims there's been a secret multi-decade program to reverse-engineer crashed alien space ships that defy the laws of physics, can travel faster than light, cross dimensions and so on - yet we're still stuck with the same ole gasoline-powered cars we've had since the first supposed recovered UFO in 1930 or whatever. And if it's a matter of us not being able to figure out their tech, why the hell haven't they bothered to bring in some of the best physicists, engineers and scientists to help?

Lots of people are able to come up with weird, but convincing stories about all kinds of things. But I come from the school of "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence."

Eh. I kind of don’t think some people would be convinced with any amount of evidence.
