Most relationships end when the addicted person gets sober. Whatever worked before, it doesn't work anymore. People have to change a lot of things about themselves to get sober. Once you're sober, you're not exactly the same person you were. It probably does feel like a betrayal to her.


Okay, fine. She still comes across very badly (to me) for constantly trashing him in public.

Me too! Dogs know. They are such a comfort. Losing her beloved dog after all of that had to be so heart-breaking. He was the constant in her life.

Have you seen his latest latest standup? I think he was on drugs when he was funny. Because now that he has gone to rehab, I did not like him at all, granted, I only made it through the first 20 minutes.


Interesting since that was the whole point of the last special which IMO is his best work ever.


I saw this most recent show live and have seen the special. I think it's fantastic. Definitely some of his best work. It's raw and honest and kind of dark, and I loved it. He has always been very funny, but he is more honest now. He's starting to approach some of the greats, IMHO.

I don't think Anna Marie Tendler and I would get along at all in person, but I really enjoy her aesthetic projects, especially her beautiful house.

I am not an everybody cheats person but do you believe those who do announce it so that everyone knows? A lot of couples stay together and work it out privately and many people are never found out. See: Ancestry/23andMe sibling discoveries

Gosh, my life has been very negatively impacted by the cheating of others. But I feel bad for YOU that you think this is normal. It's not. Most of us have no desire or willingness to hurt other people.

Right. This. Also maybe he didn’t want a kid with her and in that specific dysfunctional relationship dynamic and that became more clear to him as he got clean and distanced himself.

But more importantly girl, he gone. He ain’t coming back. Lick your wounds and move on.
