“Bigger home, vacays, cars, nicer community, etc” you know all that stuff

Well now we know why. I might be because of these actual things but more likely is about how she learned of these things.

What if you just said it at home, to your spouse & adult kid? Still a dick term?

Many people. It's a very common term.

No. It isn’t.

Absolutely.

I've never even heard the term "leveled up" before. Thank you! This is why I look at DCUM.

Have you talked to your friend in depth and asked her why she doesn’t want to be friends? If one of my mamas stopped responding and what not, I’d follow up.

Yeah, that part too. The contact just stops and there is never an explanation. Again after so many years too!

I'm the PP, thank you for understanding.

Exactly this. It sounds snooty af to say level up.

Another who is constantly complaining--omg it's SO hard to manage the contractors, omg it's SO hard to pick the right deck for next to my pool. Acting Woe is me when you have a crap ton more money than your friend who is trying to handle the bills each month...will definitely create a divide.

LOL how do you humbly communicate that you’ve done a huge Reno on your house? Please elaborate. Truly the second version is the reality, dealing with the people is the worst part. There is an art here, I’ll figure it out eventually.

You say you're doing a house renovation and then you don't bring it up until it's done. Why must you drone on and on about the contractors? Aren't there other more interesting things to talk about?
