I mean, I'm republican and I guess this is silly. I'm surprised the school pushed that hard, but also surprised that this resulted in litigation and national attention. It's pants. Under a gown. That's pretty androgynous.

Exactly, who cares what a kid wears under their graduation gown? I see you agree that the school administration should have yawned as they'd already previously yawned when the same kid wore the same clothes at every other school event and prom, right?

It is a LOCAL question. Mind your own business.
Agreed - and we're going to bring back slavery. it's our LOCAL thing. Lynching parties and the whole nine yards. Mind your own business.
I’ve never met a soul who wants to bring back slavery. What a stupid lie.
You completely missed their point, didn't you?
Pause, read, think, try to understand the point they are making and try again.
I don’t understand their point. Slavery is constitutionally banned. Nobody wants slavery. So what is the point that slavery is “local”? It sounds like the person is saying I am racist if I don’t support the transvestitism.

Leave us alone. We’ll get along better in this way.
Sounds like you hate liberty and freedom.
I don’t think you know what those words mean. You do you.
Sounds like you want a bigger government to enforce dress codes set by the state.
The school set standards.
Some special interests ran to a judge.
The judge said the school can set standards.
Only government action here was a judicial ruling sought by your kind.
