Kids may not have died, but in countless cases, their parents, grandparents and other systems of support did. Entire families and communities were completly destabilized for two years. A murdered 12/13 year old in 2023 was 9/10 when schools closed and people died.

No one is talking about how every one of these children were ALREADY identified by schools, child welfare, and other systems before being killed.

The majority of covid deaths in between 2020 and 2022 were African-Americans. 38,000 deaths in DC Maryland and VA between 2020-2022.

In DC, 80% of covid deaths occurred in Wards 7 & 8. There are many more who died with ongoing complications with underlying health conditions after recovering from covid-19 that are not counted in that number.

Awaiting a good writer/ researcher to capture this story. I see the evidence every day. No one is talking about it.

Local government and the police have very little impact on the crime rate.

We've seen just how wrong this is the past several years. We can socially construct a lower crime rate and have chosen to let it skyrocket and hope that it's other people that suffer for it.

Good chance to ask her questions about crime and her new safety legislation directly. If you support, contact your CM and At Large members. Ideally the bill would be voted on prior to them leaving for recess.

Keep 'no paper' the cases to protect the futures that they'll never have.

But their feelings don't matter. Or do matter. I can't remember which it is today.

Then riddle me this, why do they keep voting Democrats and churning out the same results that are just worsening with each election? Are they that brain dead they can't make that connection?
