That's the DCUM consensus. There's a world of difference between this and reality.
DCUM may be a toxic cesspool, but it's our toxic cesspool!
It seems like most of the doom and gloom posters don't even live here but post to sew grievance and discontent. They seem to have some political agenda.
OMB! On DCUM? Never!
I don't understand this kind of post. The posters are clearly Pyle parents and other posters have recognized them as such. Your post puts this topic back on top and I don't think that's what you want.
It's clear lots of people post aspirationally rather than knowledgeably on DCUM.

Anonymous wrote:It's been good for us and the families near us. We came into MCPS from a DC private. Pyle is big enough that your kids will find their group, and then change that group a few times if need be. Speaking from having one finished at Pyle, now in Whitman, and one still in Pyle. Mostly very good teachers, one a year doesn't click w our DCs.
Anonymous wrote:As a Pyle parent, the posts ring true. These are actual Pyle parents. These issues are the very same ones we were talking about last week after a child's party when a bunch of us were standing around waiting to pick up.

Except for those with actual kids attending / recently attended. I believe you do have to live in the catchment area in order for that to happen. So, no, a lot of posters are genuine parents with genuine kids who go to or went to Pyle.
Except for the most of those who work for RNC as astroturfers.
You sound defensive.
+1 not only defensive but insane. conspiracy theorist, anyone?![]()
