This must be from before C2.0 since they haven't had Algebra 2 at TPMS in like a decade.
That is completely untrue! They have algebra 2 right now at TPMS.
What they won’t do is put kids into algebra 1 in 6th grade based on scores or achievements. They will only do it if they already took AIM in fifth. That small group of kids then ends up taking algebra 2 in 8th. Just like they are doing RIGHT NOW!
Yes, it's completely untrue that they have Algebra 2 at TPMS. Hasn't been offered there in years.

Sounds about right. DC was at the TPMS magnet a couple of years ago, and even at TPMS magnet, only a handful of kids took Algebra 2 at Blair since they switched to curriculum 2.0. There just aren't that many kids in Algebra 2 in 8th these days. Fewer than there are schools on that list.
Some schools bus the kids to the high school.
Yes, the few that have kids in that situation bus. There really aren't any MS that teach Algebra 2 since they switched to Curriculum 2.0. That spreadsheet is ancient.

TPMS is on Piney Branch Rd, the boundary between TP and SS.
Except it’s located very clearly in the Takoma park side and within the city limits of Takoma park.
Hence, Takoma Park Middle School, not Silver Spring Middle School.
